Initiative for Development & Empowerment Axis (IDEA) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) in Pakistan, working since 2003 to improve the lives of vulnerable and marginalized communities through sustainable development and humanitarian assistance. IDEA collaborates with local communities, government institutions, development partners, and civil society organizations to create lasting social and economic impact.
IDEA is committed to building resilient, inclusive, and self-reliant communities by implementing programs in education, health, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), livelihoods, food security, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, emergency response, gender equality, and community development.
Through a community-driven and participatory approach, IDEA empowers individuals and institutions, strengthens local capacities, and delivers timely humanitarian assistance during emergencies. By promoting innovation, transparency, and sustainable solutions, IDEA continues to contribute towards a more resilient, equitable, and prosperous Pakistan.
