IDEA has implemented a total of 8 UNHCR funded projects in KP. Through these projects, IDEA has improved the capacity and infrastructure of government schools in refugee-hosting areas, promoting social cohesion amongst both communities.

IDEA is managing 80 formal and ALP centers in the Central and southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the financial support of UNHCR and enrolled 140543 students in different grades at the primary level.

IDEA has Improved the Capacity and Infra-Structure of Government Education Services in Govt Schools with UNHCR.

We involves and enhances the capacity of the Parent Teachers Council (PTC) or Village Education Committee (VEC) for school monitoring and especially for girls’ enrollment. 5 - IDEA has improved through physical and non-physical upgrades in 117 schools as well as providing teacher training, the establishment of library corners, and the provision of teaching aids.

IDEA has implemented a total of 87 projects, half of which are education. Through these projects, IDEA has improved the capacity and infrastructure of government schools in refugee-hosting areas, promoting social cohesion amongst both communities. - IDEA has run 34 Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) centers in district Swat and enrolled 1,089 out-of-school girls, funded by CARE. 35 home-based centers were established in Bajaur Agency with support from Inter Cooperation Swiss Development Organization, in which some 1800 children were enrolled.

All the targeted educational facilities have been mainstreamed 16 and handover to Ex-FATA Education Foundation. IDEA is running 12 Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) centers for girls in district Swat with the support of UNESCO. 35 communitybased Temporary Learning centers for NWA TDPs in district Bannu were established by IDEA, where 1783 children including 983 girls were enrolled and graduated. - IDEA has established science laboratories in 250 Government High Schools in Ex-FATA and equipped 450 Middle schools with Math and Science Kits in FATA.
